Podcast Episode 011: How Going Grey In Her 40s Landed Her A New Modeling Career

Welcome to The Gorgeous Grey Podcast, I am so excited you are here! My name is Nicole Scott, your host, Registered Holistic Nutritionist, rREST Mindset Coach, Author of The Gorgeous Grey Movement, and Co-Creator of The Menopause Reset Program.

In this episode, Lori Dawnolyn joins me to discuss her return to modelling at the age of 45 with grey hair. After working as a print model in the 1990s, Lori Dawnolyn left that life behind to follow her military spouse on his postings across Canada and raise their two children. At the age of 45, Lori returned to the commercial modelling industry, this time as a "silver sister". Represented in both the Toronto and Montreal markets, Lori has worked on national, US and global campaigns for companies such as Kobo Books, Elita Intimates, Sandbanks Winery, Boom! Cosmetics and Hair Biology. She recently added acting to her résumé, with her first co-star role in the CBC Gem variety show, Lido TV, debuting at the 2022 Toronto International Film Festival. Lori is an "age-positive advocate" and believes that staying curious and optimistic are the keys to ageing authentically.
